Supporting Causes that Matter

These are among the causes Petroplus® actively invests its will in and, among them, are especially concerned Petroplus®. Cause-related, other than encouraging employees and mobilizing their community service activities, it has arguably been the best driver of social responsibility in the company. Charity of significant personal meaning to them is made accessible and encouraged for employees. This in itself makes a positive contribution to Petroplus®‘ commitment to change. Giving is important for Petrplous®, and we pride ourselves on being part of both above-the-line and grassroots initiatives for our employees.

Petroplus® Foundation Roots

Petroplus® was set up in 2010, founded by the co-founders of the company, to help communities stand back on their feet in dire need, especially those in Sri Lanka since the co-founders hail from there. It was officially renamed in the year 2022 to reflect the growth and continual commitment of Petroplus® towards the mission with the charity. Petroplus® being the chief donor gives substantial funds to the foundation, also by raising funds through various fundraising activities. Petroplus® continues to drive initiatives that inspire staff involvement in charitable endeavors, including project suggestions, fundraising events, and sporting challenges.
